Getting Ready for College?

We offer a comprehensive program that is student-centered to and focused on helping him or her achieve their goals. We begin by assessing the student's capability and then building a program that is designed to improve results. 

 

Our Aim

We seek to help students at all levels and not just the top performers. Not everyone will have a perfect score and we certainly understand that taking admission tests can be quite stressful. That is why we design a program with the student goals in mind. We use proven method and technics to drive measurable results.

 

Beyond the Tests

Standardized testing is only one component of the college admissions process. Today, college look for well-rounded students so putting together a comprehensive application is important. 

 

Our Service

We offer both a standardizing testing improvement plan and a full college admission program.

 

MyDigiTutor STEAM Scholarship

Note that we administer this scholarship internally and make payment directly to select academic institutions.

 

Through our many offerings, we promote access to education by donating to the general scholarship fund of at least one of the colleges and universities of the students we serve. Since this is our inaugural tutoring year (2018), we will offer one scholarship to a student seeking admission to a four-year institution in a STEAM field within the state of Florida - mainly private and public four-year universities and colleges. The student must be from the South Florida area and must enroll in a South Florida college or university.  The funds will be paid directly to that institution. We will also highlight the student and their accomplishments on the MyDigiTutor website.

 

Eligibility:

- Must be a high-school senior from South Florida.

- Must be a Florida resident for at least three years before enrolling in the prospective program.

- Must have been accepted and enrolled in an accredited South Florida institution (request list).

Evidence that the eligibility criteria are met is required which would include transcripts, acceptance and enrollment confirmation.

 

 

How do you apply?

Create a Piktochart making your case for why you feel that you should earn this scholarship and why STEAM fields are so relevant. 

 

The Piktochart should be saved as a PDF and contain:

• Education and career goals.

• Why you chose this field of study.

• Discuss the importance of diversity in education and how tutoring programs help people achieve those goals.

• Show us your STEAM!

 

You will also need to create a high-quality video using a product like Camtasia which we will use to evaluate your application and post on our website. Camtasia allows you to have multiple tracks for video, sound, and presentations.

 

Key Dates

Submission deadline is May 31, 2018.

The review period is between June 1, 2018, and July 23rd, 2018.

Decision and notifications will be sent by July 30, 2018.

 

If you are selected, we may ask you to make a second video or to take a picture that we can post on the website. If you are under 18 years of age parental consent will be required.

 

MyDigiTutor reserves the right to discontinue or modify this program at any time. We hope to expand these scholarships as our business grows.
